U.S. State Privacy Notice

Scope

WAJ s.r.o. (IČO 14103061) operates KNOW ME TOO. Several U.S. state privacy laws apply only above certain thresholds or to certain activities. This notice describes the rights available to you where the relevant law applies to our processing; it does not represent that every law described applies to us at all times.

Categories we process and why

The categories of personal information we collect, the sources, and the purposes are described in detail in our Privacy Notice. In summary:

• Identifiers and account data — to create and operate your account.
• Commercial information (membership status, transactions) — to manage memberships where applicable.
• Internet and device activity — to secure and operate the service, and for analytics only if you opt in.
• Audio data, where you use a voice feature — to deliver that feature.
• User-generated content, including free text about your life and relationships — to provide the features you use.
• Inferences generated by NOMI from what you provide — to give you suggestions you asked for.
• Sensitive personal information you choose to provide — only for the features you enable, with your consent where required.

Sources and disclosures

We collect information directly from you, automatically from your device when you use the service, and from people who invite or connect with you. We disclose personal information only to service providers and processors acting on our behalf under contract, and where required by law.

No sale, no targeted advertising

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share or process it for targeted advertising or cross-context behavioural advertising. We do not use personal information for profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

Your rights, where applicable

Depending on your state of residence, you may have the right to:

• know and access the personal information we hold about you, and obtain a portable copy
• correct inaccurate personal information
• delete personal information
• opt out of sale, targeted advertising and certain profiling — we do not carry out these activities
• limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information
• not be discriminated or retaliated against for exercising a privacy right

Sensitive data and consent

In states such as Colorado, Connecticut and Virginia, processing of sensitive data requires your consent. We process sensitive data only where you choose to provide it through a feature you enabled, and you can withdraw that consent by disabling the feature, deleting the content, or contacting us.

California

California residents may exercise the rights above under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA, including the right to know, delete, correct, and to limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA, including with respect to consumers under 16.

Texas

Texas residents may exercise the rights above under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, including the right to appeal a decision on a request. We will respond to an appeal within the period required by law and, if the appeal is denied, will tell you how to contact the Texas Attorney General.

Global Privacy Control

We recognise Global Privacy Control signals on this website as an opt-out preference signal. When GPC is present, analytics and marketing remain off.

How to make a request

Send your request to info@knowmetoo.com, stating your state of residence and what you would like us to do. We may need to verify your identity before acting, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law.

Authorised agents may submit requests on your behalf; we may require proof of authority and verification from you directly.

Appeals

If we decline your request and your state gives you a right to appeal, reply to our decision or write to info@knowmetoo.com with the word "appeal" in the subject. We will review and respond in writing.
